On Wednesday, February 10, a shocking video from one of the cemeteries in Dagestan flew around Russian social networks. A resident of the republic, Daud Daudov buried his two newborn children, whose bodies were wrapped in a funeral blanket. However, when the cloth was opened, it turned out that the dolls were wrapped in it. The man said in the video that his wife gave birth to two children in the perinatal center in Stavropol, and then they were told that the children were dead, but instead of their bodies, they gave them dolls.
The man turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, where he described the situation in detail. According to him, perfectly healthy twins were born on the night of February 2 to 3. After that, Daudov's wife, Laura, was taken to intensive care, but on February 7 she was discharged.
“On the 8th, they brought her children, they wanted to take them away, she resisted. From 8th to 9th, death was pronounced - cerebral hemorrhage, aneurysm,” said the father of the babies.
He suggested that after being discharged, instead of real children, his wife was brought dolls wrapped in a funerary blanket.
“I came home in a panic, they were lying there, they were in my sight all the time. Then they took the children, came to bury them in the village, dug a hole near my grandfather, and put them there,” he said.
The family was told not to open the children, but the relatives insisted on the opposite.
“I started to open the face of the first child - I have no eyes. I started to open the second - the same thing,” the man said.
Daudov believed that in this case his children were alive.
Of course, this should have been followed by a response from the authorities of the Stavropol Territory. However, the governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, surprised many with his answer.
“We checked all the bases: such a woman did not come to us. By the way, the Stavropol maternity hospitals are equipped with surveillance cameras - you can control them by their records,” he said.
He noted that in the Stavropol Perinatal Center "there have never been double stillbirths."
Not everyone believed in the governor's answer. However, a little later, the scandal began to turn into a series. Investigators found out that the woman was not actually pregnant at all. Laura admitted that she once did a pregnancy test, and the "strip" showed a positive result. She made her husband happy and went to the doctor, who, after the test results, said that the pregnancy still did not come.
But the girl, seeing the joy of her husband, could not tell him the truth, and decided to feign pregnancy, deceiving everyone. At the same time, at some moments it seemed to her that her belly was really growing. Due to the large physique of the girl, the family did not notice anything suspicious.
"It is difficult for me to explain this, on the one hand, I realized that I was not pregnant, on the other, I could not stop myself and stop pretending to be pregnant …", the woman told the investigators..
When it was time for "childbirth", she decided to tell her relatives that she was going to the perinatal center alone, because of the threat of coronavirus infection. Then she bought two bobbleheads from a toy store and filled them with sand. The woman herself brought the "bodies" to the house where her husband and her brother were temporarily living, and she told the family that the children had died after giving birth.
However, the woman's husband decided that the children should be buried in his family cemetery in Dagestan. Then they went together to the republic, where the deception was revealed.
