MOSCOW, March 3. / TASS /. People's Artist of Russia, actor, TV presenter Igor Vernik presented his first book "Abandoned Texts" with poems, essays, diary entries about creative and personal biography. The presentation took place on Wednesday at TASS.
"I write poetry, take notes, keep diaries - a circle of close people knows about this, but I was not going to declare this to a large audience., notes on airplanes, "Wernick said." Once my parents opened a cupboard, and a cardboard box fell on top of me, there were my children's notes, my abandoned, seemingly forgotten texts forever. And it poked me. sign. I began to read, there was my youth, my dreams, my idea of how life would be. And I decided: I need to collect it all. And so the idea of the book "Abandoned Texts" was born.
Work on the book has been going on since 2018 and was ready for release in 2019, but during the quarantine, Wernick almost completely rewrote it.
According to Igor Vernik, the book is dedicated to parents. "This book is about me - about what I was and what I have become. Yes, these are youthful, naive texts, but they contain everything that grew and everything that happened to me. The book is dedicated to mom and dad - Emil and Anna Wernik, who taught me the most important thing - to love. Love that was in our house, love for children, people, creativity, "- he shared.
Wernick believes that the book is full of joy, it will be interesting and useful for both men and women, as well as those who want to understand difficult relationships.
The book includes poems and diaries from different years - about filming, creative meetings, family, childhood and adolescence. In the description of the book it is said that the texts "reveal to the reader unexpected facets of Wernick's creative, human nature." The book will go on sale in March.
