The children, whom a resident of New Moscow took to the forest, stripped naked and left to die in the forest, will be taken away by their uncle on Wednesday, March 3. The fate of minors was revealed by the children's ombudsman in Moscow Olga Yaroslavskaya. RIA Novosti writes about it.
Yaroslavskaya clarified that this is temporary custody while the investigation is ongoing - the mother has not yet been deprived of her parental rights.
Anna Kuznetsova, Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of Russia, added that her uncle will take the children to Chuvashia. She said that the eldest child missed six months of school and would need help with getting an education.
The chief physician of the Morozov hospital, Valery Gorev, indicated that today the condition of all three children is satisfactory and they can be discharged without fear.
On February 12, it became known that the Russian woman tried to kill two children, for which she took them to the forest belt and left them to die in the cold. Later it turned out that there were three children. An eyewitness called the police, after which the victims were taken to hospital with varying degrees of frostbite. The oldest child suffered the most, as he had to walk barefoot in the snow. The mother is currently in a medical facility, the examination procedure is underway as part of an initiated criminal case.
