Rospotrebnadzor reported on the progress of the sanitary and epidemiological investigation after mass poisoning in school canteens.
Numerous irregularities were found at the enterprise that produced and supplied the contaminated vegetables to educational institutions. Among other things, the inspectors found rodents in the warehouses.
“No measures have been taken to protect production facilities from rodents; no washing and disinfection of warehouse and industrial premises is carried out; storage conditions (humidity, temperature) of products, timely bulkheading of vegetable products, etc. are not provided,”the press service of Rospotrebnadzor said.
As a result of the audit, a temporary ban was imposed on the activities of the agricultural enterprise due to the immediate threat to the life and health of people.
