In the Moscow region, the project “NON-DIVISIBLE” has been created, within the framework of which psychological assistance will be provided to families with children in case of divorce. The ombudsman for the rights of the child in the region Ksenia Mishonova told about this during a press conference.
“Today we wanted to present our project, it is called“NON-DIVISIBLE”. What will be the essence of the project - all the disputes, it is clear that they do not exist in the interests of children. Roughly speaking, parents do not know how to disperse so as not to injure their children, so that the blame for this divorce does not lie with the child for the rest of his life. We want to help parents and family get out of this difficult story called “divorce” in a civilized manner, in a favorable atmosphere for the child, in the interests of the child,”she said.
The Ombudsman noted that at first the project will operate in the three most populated municipalities of the Moscow region. They have not yet been determined. According to her, the start of the project is planned in spring.
Mishonova said that as part of the project, parents in the process of divorce will be asked to undergo mediation.
“Mediation will be aimed not at changing the decision on divorce, but at reconciling the parties in the divorce process. In order that this war does not become the last war for parents and that the main and most terrible sacrifice is not made - the child,”the Ombudsman noted.
