The police department in the Nizhny Novgorod region received a statement from a resident of Bogorodsk against her friend, who took her child from her. RIA Novosti reports. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region clarified that the application was received on January 25, 2021, after which the relevant authorities organized an inspection. They noted that, according to the results, it was established that the applicant, along with her three-month-old child, had come to visit a friend, where they drank alcohol during the day. During this time, the woman hit the baby in the face several times with her hand. In this regard, her friend decided to pick up the child and take him home to her roommate. Police officers and doctors arrived at the scene, the baby was taken to the hospital. Law enforcement agencies opened a case under the article Failure to fulfill the duties of raising a minor. It became known that the complainant to the police has a criminal record, and was also deprived of parental rights in relation to her three children.
