Over the past day in Udmurtia, one person died from the consequences of coronavirus infection, according to the regional operational headquarters. The day before, two deaths were registered in the republic.

A man died at the age of 63. The course of the disease in the deceased was accompanied by severe chronic pathologies.
The total number of victims of COVID-19 in the region has grown to 289 people.
It should be noted that the data of the regional headquarters differ significantly in the smaller direction from the indicators of the all-Russian headquarters. So, according to the federal operational headquarters, on December 23, in Udmurtia, since the beginning of the pandemic, 363 people have died from the consequences of coronavirus infection, of which one person died during the previous day.
As reported by IA REGNUM, as of December 24, 212 new cases of coronavirus infection were re-identified in the republic. The day before, 210 new carriers of SARS-CoV-2 were recorded. The total number of confirmed infections in the region rose to 18,331 cases.
