Over the past day, on December 15, three more deaths from coronavirus infection were confirmed in Karelia: a resident of Kem, born in 1940 and a resident of the village of Rypushkalitsy, Olonetsky district, born in 1965, died in a republican infectious diseases hospital, a resident of Petrozavodsk, 1935 the year of birth. All patients had concomitant chronic diseases. During the day, 2785 studies were carried out. Coronavirus infection was detected in 341 people. Of this number of cases, 324 people, of whom 59 have symptoms of moderate severity, 6 in severe and 1 in extremely serious condition. According to the operational headquarters of Karelia, another 418 people have recovered. There are 738 people in hospitals, six of them on a ventilator. The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in Karelia is 3518.5 cases per 100 thousand of the population, in Russia this figure is 1845.3 cases, in the Northwest - 2741.42 people per day were hospitalized with community-acquired pneumonia in Karelia, no deaths were recorded.
