We are talking about the "Sports and Technical Center" at Poltavskaya, 17. Earlier, the parliamentarian provided financial assistance for the installation of plastic windows in a two-storey building, as well as for repairs in the premises. - New windows have already been installed. Now we are going to do the floor screed in the gym. There is still a lot of work, but we are trying, - said the deputy head of the center Sergey Ponomarev. According to him, now the sports complex has three large gyms, and one more is a gym. The premises with sports mats have also been completely renovated. According to Ponomarev, the building has video surveillance and fire extinguishing systems. The center can be used by both children and adults. There are sports such as fencing, chess, table tennis, powerlifting, hand-to-hand combat, sambo and other martial arts. Now about 350 people are engaged in the sports complex. Previously, there was a workshop of a vocational school 24. Several years ago, the building was not serviced by anyone; it was planned to demolish it. However, later the building was transferred to the use of the sports center.
