The representatives of the authorities of the Orenburg region gave explanations about the video posted on the Internet, which filmed the forcible removal of four children from a large family in the village of Tyulpanny.
The footage shows how the police first persuade the woman to give them the children, but after she began to chase the law enforcement officers away, the kids are taken by force, and the mother is handcuffed. The check was organized by the prosecutor's office, the investigating authorities and the children's ombudsman.
According to the Minister of Education of the Orenburg Region Alexei Pakhomov, quoted by RIA Novosti, these measures were the only possible way to ensure the safety of the kids, since they lived in a house where the roof could have collapsed, and it was dangerous.
The police told the agency that the seized children will be taken to hospital for medical assistance. Previously, a woman was brought to administrative responsibility for failure to fulfill her responsibilities for raising children. The investigating authorities stated that the four children were taken away on the basis of the order of the head of the Dombarovsky district, issued due to the danger of the collapse of the roof of the house where the family lives. The Children's Ombudsman reported that the court will decide the further life of the kids.
According to him, a large family has been registered with law enforcement officers for several years.
"Was it possible to avoid taking away? If the work with the municipality had been arranged differently in previous years, the situation should have been different. And this has been going on for a long time, and the guardianship and the police are continuously monitoring the family," Pakhomov said.
He noted that the assessment of the activities of some officials will be given by the supervisory authorities, but the removal of children was the only measure to influence the parents.
According to the mayor's office of the Dombarovskiy district, the family from Tyulpanny was assigned measures of social support - a monthly allowance for children, one-time cash payments and benefits for the birth of children, compensation for the cost of housing and communal services.
"In August 2017, the family bought a house in the village of Tyulpannom with maternity capital funds. Earlier, the district administration announced the allocation of material aid in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. According to the specified information, we are talking about regional capital. The family wrote a statement from these funds in December 2018. received only ten thousand, and 106 thousand rubles of regional capital is on the account. The family can use this amount to improve living conditions, "the department said.
