The social action "Children Talk" was launched in the Moscow metro and at the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD), the press service of the Moscow Metro reported.
“Today, on International Children's Day, we are launching a social action called Children Talk. Throughout the week, audio announcements will sound on the escalator slopes of all metro stations, in which children express their gratitude to doctors, volunteers and social workers, as well as remind adults of the importance of wearing masks with gloves and maintaining social distance. Thus, not only can adults protect children, but children can also sometimes protect adults. For example, reminding us of the coronavirus prophylaxis measures necessary for health and safety,”the words of Yulia Temnikova, Deputy Head of the Metro for Development of Client Services and Work with Passengers, are quoted in the message.
Also, from June 1, "children's" announcements will sound on all trains of the Moscow Central Diameters. The promotion will last until June 8th.
It is clarified that the action was attended by wards of Moscow charitable foundations, pupils of the capital's centers for promoting family education and the Center for Socio-Cultural Rehabilitation of Diana Gurtskaya, as well as participants in the show “Voice. Children". The action was also supported by the children of Russian artists.
The organizers of the action are the “Give sunshine” charity fund to help children born at an early age, the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection, the Moscow Department of Transport and the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, as well as the All-Russian Popular Front and the All-Russian Passenger Traffic.
