The capital's prosecutor's office has put under control the results of a criminal investigation into the injury of a child in a shopping center, the press service of the supervisory agency told the Moscow City News Agency. As the prosecutor's office recalled, on March 3, a four-year-old boy, unaccompanied by adults, approached the escalator of a shopping center on ul. Kirovogradskaya, caught on the handrail on the outside of the escalator, rose to the level of the second floor, after which he could not resist and fell. The child with various injuries was taken to a medical facility.
“The Moscow prosecutor’s office is conducting a check on this fact, during which all the circumstances and reasons for what happened will be established, an assessment is made of the organization’s compliance with the requirements of federal legislation on minors, the safety of the services provided for the life and health of the population, as well as the actions of parents to fulfill their parenting responsibilities children,”the ministry said.
According to the press service, the prosecutor's office put under control the course and results of the investigation of the criminal case initiated under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").
Earlier, the agency "Moscow" reported that on March 3 in a shopping center on the street. Kirovograd, a four-year-old boy fell from an escalator leading from the first floor to the second, onto the counter of a coffee shop. The child was taken to a medical facility with an open craniocerebral injury, a fracture of the cranial vault with a transition to the base, a contusion of the brain, as well as a closed chest injury and a contusion of the lungs. As the children's ombudsman of the capital Olga Yaroslavskaya told the agency, the boy is in a hospital in serious condition, but nothing threatens his life.
