The Sovremennik hosted the premiere of the play Collected Works (16+) based on the play by Yevgeny Grishkovets. The roles were played by Marina Neyolova, Nikita Efremov, Svetlana Ivanova and Sergei Novosad, Channel One reported.
The play was staged by the artistic director of the theater Viktor Ryzhakov. In the center of the plot is the dowager mistress of the apartment, performed by Neyolova, who has to decide what to do with a huge library.
In the play, the question for me was, how to live on? Not out of habit, not out of practice, not to live out, but to live? It seems to me that this is a very contemporary play,”Grishkovets shared with the TV channel.
Efremov, Ivanova and Novosad play the children of the owner of the apartment, who do not notice the mother's feelings. According to the performer of the leading role, the relationship between generations, misunderstanding between them is one of the themes of the production.
This is a performance and play about today's time, about such an intersection of generations about love and misunderstanding, about the desire to understand and the inability to understand, they all love each other very much, but do not know how to meet in the same orbit, "Neyolova said.
Evgeny Grishkovets' daughter Natalia wrote the lyrics for the Dj Smash and Poët song "Run". In June, the writer became the protagonist of a new video about tourism in the Kaliningrad region.
