PARIS, May 20 - RIA Novosti. Children who came to quarantine at their grandfather's house in the French region Center-Loire Valley found two kilogram gold bars worth about 100 thousand euros in old sheets, BFMTV reported on Wednesday.

To while away the time of isolation at home, children, who are about 10 years old, began to build a house with sheets.
"The father advised them to take their grandmother's bedclothes, which lay in an unused room. But instead of lavender stalks, as was usually the case, the children found something heavy between the sheets," the TV channel reported.
Not interested in the find, they put it back and told their father only a few hours later. The head of the family believed that there were cutlery in the room, so beloved by the deceased grandmother. However, instead of them, there were two bars of solid gold, one kilogram each.
After the end of the quarantine, the family went to an expert who confirmed that the bars were indeed gold. It turned out that the ingots were purchased back in 1967.
The family is currently preparing for an auction, where the find will be sold. It will take place on June 16. According to the commissioner of trades Philippe Ruyak, if at the beginning of the year the bullion cost 43 thousand euros, now the rate has grown - up to 52 thousand. It is expected that by June the price will rise again - to about 54 thousand.
