There is money for payments in the region
The state and regional authorities pay special attention to measures to support children and motherhood, therefore the circle of recipients of social benefits and various benefits is constantly expanding.
“Every child, every family who have the right to this social support will definitely receive it,” said Zina Merzhoeva, Deputy Governor of the Volgograd Region.
Thus, families with an average per capita income of no more than 10,048 rubles will receive a monthly cash payment for a child from 3 to 7 years old. This income is calculated for all family members, including children. The amount of this payment in the Volgograd region will be 5061 rubles.
In order for as many families as possible to receive the payments they are entitled to, federal law provides for a deadline for submitting an application from May 20 to December 31, 2020. Now there is no sample application on the State Service portal yet, it will be ready by May 20.
“Payments will be made on terms of co-financing from the federal and regional budgets,” commented Zina Merzhoeva. - All funds have already been brought in and are in the required amount.
The total amount of payments in the region will amount to 2 billion 634 million 814 thousand rubles. This payment will be carried out through the social protection authorities.
The second initiative of the president is to double the size of the allowance for caring for the first child to one and a half years. In our region, it has grown to 6751 rubles. Indexation of the amount will take place automatically, parents do not need to confirm their right to receive additional payments.

The main burden now falls on the portal "Gosuslugi", which was visited by 17 million applicants on May 12 alone. However, in the context of an epidemic of coronavirus infection, it is better to submit an application remotely in order to preserve your health. According to the head of the Volgograd branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation Vladimir Fedorov, the 10 thousand rubles promised by the president will be received by all families in which a child under 16 is brought up.
The decree, signed on May 11, guarantees payment subject to three mandatory conditions: the child must be a citizen of the Russian Federation and permanently reside in Russia, and his parents must not be deprived of parental rights.
We have already calculated the approximate number of children in our region who will receive this payment - this is 300 thousand children. The total amount of charges will be over 3 billion rubles.
There is good news for parents whose children were born between April 2017 and January 2020. Families where such a baby is brought up under the age of 3 will also receive a payment for April, May, June in the amount of 15,000 rubles.
“According to our estimates, there are a little more than 23 thousand such children in the Volgograd Region,” said Vladimir Fedorov.
