In the evening, they said that they had organized a pre-investigation check and would find out the circumstances of the incident.
The official announcement has already been published on the website of the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It says that "a video footage was posted in the media, which captured a young woman and two children who, in a thick ice drift on a natural reservoir, are playing a dangerous game - jumping over ice floes, being in danger of falling into the water."
