In Yamal, the delivery of food sets for preschool children from preferential categories who attend municipal kindergartens has begun. This measure is introduced to support families during the period when preschool institutions are closed due to the regime of self-isolation, the press service of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug government said.

“Following the food packages for schoolchildren, we are introducing the same support measure for children attending kindergartens. The kits will be received by those who need help the most - large and low-income families, families raising children with disabilities and other beneficiaries. More than 14,000 kits will be delivered in total. That is, every third child attending kindergarten will receive them,”said Yamal Governor Dmitry Artyukhov.
14 privileged categories of families will be able to take advantage of the support measure. These include large and low-income families, families where children or parents have health problems, bring up orphans, both parents study full-time. The kits will also be given to children of single parents and children of military personnel. Lists were formed in each municipality.
The set includes 18 types of products: canned fish, stew, milk, cereals, juices, sweets and others. Their list is compiled according to SanPiNam, all products are recommended for feeding children.
Each municipality forms such a set independently, so there may be minor differences. However, the basic composition is the same everywhere, the message says. In addition, it is up to the municipalities whether to deliver the kits in boxes or in bags. The set is designed for a month. Delivery will be carried out until May 31st. Volunteers will deliver the kits.
