VOLGOGRAD, May 10. / TASS /. Vaccination of children and adolescents in the Volgograd region was resumed according to the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations, the press service of the regional administration told reporters on Sunday.
The decision to suspend the vaccination campaign in polyclinics was made on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in connection with measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
"Vaccination of children and adolescents has been resumed in the Volgograd region according to the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations. Children from birth to 14 years old are subject to vaccination," it was reported.
The regional health committee clarified that the vaccination campaign will be carried out in conditions of increased anti-epidemic requirements. The recording should be carried out at the rate of one patient per 30 minutes. Children and accompanying adults should use personal respiratory protection.
According to the committee, there are sufficient quantities of vaccines in the region against poliomyelitis, pertussis, tetanus, diphtheria, tuberculosis, measles, rubella, mumps, hemophilic infection, pneumococcal infection, viral hepatitis. The immunizations included in the compulsory health insurance policy are free of charge.
