Residents of the area can help schoolchildren from low-income families prepare the necessary things and stationery for the Day of Knowledge. Ekaterina Zakharova, Acting Head of the Branch of the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children "Dialogue", spoke about this.
“The Dialogue Center invites everyone to take part in the action and give a chance to children, many of whom will go to school for the first time, to start this school year with self-confidence and knowing that there is goodness and mutual assistance in the world. You can transfer new school supplies, clothes and shoes to a special point at Cherepovetskaya Street, 18. It will work from 10.00 to 17.00, - explained Zakharova.
We add that thanks to the action, several tens of thousands of needy families receive assistance every year, including large families who have lost their breadwinner, families with disabled children, with parents who have lost their jobs, and others.
