Adults and children's polyclinics in the capital are beginning the process of transition to electronic medical records without duplication on paper. Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, told reporters about this. “We have reached a high level of penetration of advanced technologies in healthcare. With a single digital platform, we have the opportunity to take the next step into the “clinic of the future”. Polyclinics of the city are gradually beginning to switch to electronic medical records management in UMIAS - examination protocols, research results, information on vaccinations and many others. We will start an experiment on the basis of two children's polyclinics - they will use electronic medical records without duplication on paper. This will allow debugging all processes, and from October we plan to gradually begin to spread the modern format of medical history management to other children's polyclinics in Moscow. For this, in particular, by April we plan to digitize all the necessary documents from children's medical records. Thus, all information about the health of babies will always be at the fingertips of doctors and parents. Based on the results, we will also make a decision on the implementation of the project in the adult polyclinic network,”Rakova said. In this case, at the request of the patient or legal representative, it will be possible to additionally maintain a medical record on paper. Currently, an electronic medical record is a digital analogue of a paper one, and both documents are maintained in parallel. Access to an electronic medical record can be obtained on the mos.ru portal. For registration, the user must have a compulsory medical insurance policy and be over 15 years old. Parents can submit a separate application for access to the children's card.
