The event was organized specifically for the inmates of a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. The children were taught to grow fruit trees and berry bushes. The main task was to weed the weeds and fertilize the land. Children communicated with each other, learned to interact in a common cause and understand each other. At the end, they received a reward for their fruitful work - fruit and an apple pie.

Artem Yegorov and Kamilla Tikhomirova came to a picnic in the Istra's "Dream Garden". The guys take care of fruit trees and berry bushes with their own hands. Artem and Camilla are best friends. They try to do everything together. They are special children. They fight weeds as hard as they fight disease. Camilla's speech is not legible, but Artyom understands it perfectly. Explains everything the girl cannot tell.
“We remove the grass from the trees in order to put fertilizers, fertilizers are needed to make the tree grow faster. It can also have fruits, for example, apples on an apple,”said Artem Yegorov, a picnic participant.
Mental retardation, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy. Despite the diagnoses, these guys are, first of all, children. A little physical activity and communication is all they need.
“When they start to communicate with each other, it gives a big impetus, and the child starts to speak, that is, they become liberated, and motor skills combined with communication allows progress to be made,” said Alexander Osipov, a teacher of adaptive physical culture and sports.

Children change in nature. They talk with a smile about the weather and the plants they take care of. A picnic in the Garden of Dreams is a long-term project. Until the fruits grow, children will come to the park and watch the trees. This is another reason for Artyom and Camilla to see each other more often. In a gardening lesson, they learn to understand each other and interact over and over again. Someone begins to speak better, focuses attention, becomes interested and enthusiastic. The organizers insist that there is no need to ignore special children in playgrounds, on the contrary - to communicate more.
“The idea was for children to play freely in this zone on the fresh grass, experiencing such tactile sensations, that is, very often children sit at the computer and rarely go out - not every summer cottage, accordingly,“Garden of My Dreams”is a good, kind project, which twice won the Moscow Region Prize, took second place. This money helps to develop this project,”said Mikhail Prokhorov, a public figure.
The task for today is to pull out all the weeds. Then you need to have a little snack, fruit and apple pie - they were prepared for the children. The task for tomorrow is to harvest, communicate and defeat the disease.
