The real museum will be located on Sovetsky Prospekt in the building of the Philharmonic, according to the official website of the city of Cherepovets.

“When we were deciding how we could fit so many meanings in a small volume, we realized that you couldn't show anything with standard techniques. The museum will not correspond to the scale of Bashlachev's personality. Therefore, we have abandoned standard display cases. Visitors to the museum will see an audiovisual performance with a chronicle, Bashlachev's musical works, and laser projection. I hope that after that, museum visitors will be able to look at the memorial items in a different way,”said Svetlana Sultanova, director of the Cherepovets Museum Association.
Also, those who wish can get acquainted with the work of the musician without leaving their home - in the virtual museum. It is being funded by a grant from the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation. It will feature photographs and songs of Bashlachev, stories of his friends, 3D models of objects related to the life and work of the poet.
The virtual museum will be navigated by a 12-string guitar, which you can navigate like chords.
“The objects in the museum will speak with the audience with the voices of Bashlachev's relatives, friends and relatives. In the gallery there will be photos that come to life. Many of these photographs have never been published before,”said Irina Anfalova, head of the museum association's tourist information center.
Both museums will start working at the end of November.
