Russian parents are worried: lump sum payments in the amount of 10 thousand for children, introduced by the state in connection with the situation with the coronavirus, often fall into the wrong hands. Complaints that the money sometimes goes to the parent who does not even live with the child and does not participate in his upbringing were answered by the Russian Pension Fund.
The department reported that there is no way to track this moment. It is also impossible to return the funds paid back and redirect them to another parent.
If the application of one parent is received after the payment has already been transferred at the request of the parent who previously applied, the Pension Fund cannot withdraw the funds assigned. In this case, it is mom and dad who are responsible for ensuring that the funds are used according to their semantic purpose, that is, for the good of the child,

Moreover, Russian mothers and fathers will receive repeated payments in July for the same applications. So that 10 thousand rubles are not sent to the “wrong” parent again, it is worth contacting the Pension Fund as soon as possible. “The Pension Fund, together with the social protection authorities, will conduct an inspection and only after that will make a decision on the recipient of the transfer of the new payment. Some parents did just that,”the department noted.
By the way, a little earlier it became known that the Russian authorities did not support the idea of payments for children 16 and 17 years old.
