The name of Nadezhda Belik was proposed to be assigned to the Nizhny Novgorod children's center "Zvezdochka", the press service of the governor and the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region reports.
Let us remind you that the former director of the Nizhny Novgorod Palace of Children's Art named after V. I. Chkalova Nadezhda Belik died on February 3. The farewell ceremony took place on February 5. Governor Gleb Nikitin took part in it.
“Just a few days ago, Nadezhda Nikolaevna said that she was happy to see the reconstruction of her native Chkalov Palace. Unfortunately, she did not wait for the completion of the work, but we will do our best to make her brainchild become modern and at the same time preserve the comfort, traditions and unique atmosphere that originated here thanks to the invaluable contribution of Nadezhda Belik,”said Gleb Nikitin.
Governor Gleb Nikitin suggested that the children's health and educational center be named after Nadezhda Belik. He also discussed with the head of the city Yuri Shalabayev the issue of installing a memorial plaque in memory of Nadezhda Belik on the building of the Palace.
“Colleagues, pupils and their parents called Nadezhda Nikolaevna a guardian angel and mentor. She was very patient and sympathetic, she could always listen to everyone who turned to her for support, advise something, help out, did not refuse requests to anyone. With her endless love of life, Nadezhda Nikolaevna lifted the spirits of everyone who was upset, confused or depressed by something. She was a person and a specialist with a capital letter, one of those who are called irreplaceable. And now Nadezhda Nikolaevna will remain for many of us a moral guideline on the path of life,”said Yuri Shalabayev.
Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, shared his memories of his communication with Nadezhda Belik.
“Probably, there is no Nizhny Novgorod citizen who, at least once in his life, would not pronounce the name of Nadezhda Nikolaevna Belik. A unique person who made a fundamental contribution to the development of children's creativity, children's movement. She has always been an example for us, a teacher. I remember how Nadezhda Nikolaevna handed me prizes when I was a pioneer, haunted me when I was a deputy of the State Duma. My colleagues and I helped in the implementation of her projects and ideas. At the same time, she has always demonstrated amazing personal modesty and complete self-sacrifice in working with children. I appeal to all the relatives and friends of Nadezhda Nikolaevna to express my deepest and most sincere condolences,”said Alexey Likhachev.
Condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Nadezhda Belik were also expressed by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Yevgeny Lyulin.
“Nadezhda Nikolaevna is a legend of Nizhny Novgorod culture. For many years she led the Palace of Pioneers, and thousands of boys and girls who studied there will forever remember her as a great mentor. She devoted most of her life to working with children and will remain in our hearts a kind, bright person,”said Yevgeny Lyulin.
