Deputy of the Moscow City Duma Tatyana Batysheva spoke about the system of additional education and the feasibility of early development of children.

“Today you will not surprise anyone with“English from the cradle”, reading at the age of 2 and other extreme methods. It is almost impossible to meet such a first-grader who does not study in several circles and sections at once. The fact that parents want to give their children more opportunities is commendable, but a balance must be found between “all-round development” and the real capabilities of the child's body,”Argumenty i Fakty is quoted by Batysheva.
She noted that the coronavirus pandemic has shown that health care remains the main concern, especially for children.
Immunity helps the body defend itself against disease, but overload can provoke chronic fatigue, nervousness, and distraction. In this condition, the child loses motivation to study and can often get sick.
She stressed that tactile and emotional closeness with parents, that is, live communication, is important for the development of the child's brain and his mental abilities.
