MHD deputy director of the Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Psychoneurology Tatyana Batysheva said that the abuse of gadgets entails risks, reports AiF.

Batysheva noted that delay in psycho-speech development in children has become a frequent diagnosis in recent years. Experts associate this with gadgets. The deputy recommends immersing the child in a healthy speech environment, and emphasizes that no tablet can replace mother's voice.
The specialist also advised to immediately contact a neurologist, speech therapist and psychologist if the child does not speak at the appropriate age.
“Children who use gadgets too much from an early age demonstrate aggression, conflict, and low emotional intelligence. They do not know how to understand their own and other people's emotions, they do not know how to communicate,”the parliamentarian added.
The MP called the lack of imagination one of the main problems of a modern child. This leads to the use of educational applications instead of ordinary children's games and creating something new with your own hands.
The deputy warned that while reducing the time of using gadgets, parents should be prepared for the child's negative reaction.
“The main thing in this situation is not to give up, but to pedantically observe the new rules, explaining why they are needed. You also need to invite your child to spend time in a different way,”she concluded.
