The death of Valery Kharlamov and his wife Irina will forever remain one of the most terrible tragedies of Russian hockey. The car accident claimed the life of a young couple and took the brightest athlete from the world sports. And she also left very little Alexander and Begonita without parents. Sport24 has already talked about the fate of the children of the great striker. The son tried to follow in his father's footsteps, did not achieve much success on the ice, and now he works as the general director of the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo. My daughter also went in for sports, but in the end she decided to devote herself to the family and raising children - Dasha and Ani. Sport24 tells about the eldest of the granddaughters of the legendary 17th issue.
“Both of my daughters are swimming. But I don't want them to become professional athletes. Sport is everything. He needs to give his whole life. That is, either study or training. I know this from myself. Therefore, let it be better to get an education,”Begonita said in 2015.
In swimming, Daria specialized in the 50-meter freestyle, completed her first youth category, after which she nevertheless left the sport. In addition, Kharlamov's granddaughter graduated from the Vatagin art school. The girl even today sometimes paints in oils or watercolors, but only "at the call of the soul."
The art school had its influence - Daria entered the Institute of Design of the Kosygin Russian State University.
But further plans were influenced by his father - Dmitry Dronov, general director of the vending company Moscow Coffee Network. Following his example, the granddaughter of the CSKA star and the USSR national team dreams of going into business and opening her own company that will specialize in environmental design.
At the university, Daria was engaged in the design of city parks and other urban spaces. A girl needs her own business in this industry to “transform the world around her and make it more comfortable for people”.
What else is known about the heiress of the legend? Once she devoted her summer holidays to the work of animators in the children's camp "Eaglet": she helped to decorate the territory and hold evening events. One of Daria's favorite vacation spots is the family dacha in the village of Bear Lakes, Shchelkovo District.
Valery Kharlamov's mother, whose name was Carmen Orive-Abad, was Spanish by nationality. Her great-granddaughter also has a Spanish passport.
And a few more facts. Daria loves to go to functional training at the recreation park and watch movies at the Nightingale cinema.
