A kindergarten with a sensory room for psychological relief of pupils has opened in a developing area of Novosibirsk, where there is an acute problem of lack of places in kindergartens. In addition to group rooms, the new building is equipped with modern music and sports halls, as well as an art studio, the press service of the regional government told TASS.
In the regions of Siberia, there is an acute problem of lack of places in schools and kindergartens. At the end of March, the plenipotentiary of the president in the Siberian Federal District, Sergei Menyailo, reported that about 300 thousand children under three years of age are not provided with places in kindergartens. To solve this problem, it is planned to build more than 140 kindergartens in Siberia by 2024, 44 of them in the Novosibirsk region.
"The new kindergarten was built according to a standard design, 12 groups are designed in the building, of which four groups are for toddlers and eight groups are for children from 3 to 7 years old. more than 50 thousand inhabitants, and the microdistrict continues to actively build up and develop ", - quotes the press service of the Minister of Construction of the region Ivan Schmidt.
The minister said that the staff of the kindergarten has been recruited, and soon the institution will start attending 220 children from 1.5 to 3 years old. In the new building, in addition to the catering and laundry facilities, music and gymnasiums, there is an ISO studio and a sensory room. Children will visit the latter together with psychologists. Special equipment and objects are installed in the room, each of which affects one or more of the child's senses - sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste buds. In the sensory room, pupils will be able to move and interact with objects, which will allow them to learn how to quickly respond to non-standard situations.
As the Minister of Education of the region Sergei Fedorchuk explained to TASS, many preschool educational institutions that are being built in the region under the national project have sensory rooms. "This innovation largely depends on the children who will go to this kindergarten, because they are different - it can be children with pathologies and children with disabilities. For residents of this area, for children who go to this kindergarten, there is a sensory room ", - said Fedorchuk.
The new kindergarten was built within the framework of the federal project "Promoting the employment of women - creating conditions for preschool education for children under the age of three" of the RF state program "Development of education" of the national project "Demography". In total, 44 kindergartens are planned to be built in the region by 2024. The national project "Demography", designed for 2019-2024, includes five federal projects: "Financial support for families at the birth of children", "Promoting the employment of women", "Older generation", "Strengthening public health", "Sport is the norm of life ". The total budget was 3.1 trillion rubles.
