An ice town has appeared in the center of the village of Uva. The head of the Uvinsky district of Udmurtia, Vladimir Golovin, shared the video footage of the Uvinskaya Gazeta editorial office on social networks.
He noted that the slide and ice sculptures appeared in the Krasavitsa Spruce public garden at the request of residents. “The town is already becoming a place of attraction for the little residents of the village,” Golovin stressed.
New traffic light
In Glazov, traffic at the intersection of Tsiolkovsky Street with Okruzhnoye Highway began to follow traffic lights. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
The installation and adjustment of the traffic light was organized by the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Udmurtia. The intersection was recognized as one of the centers of accidents on the roads of Glazov and Glazovsky district. Appeals about the need for a traffic light object were received from motorists Glazov and Shtanigurt.
Great book
The book of the publishing house "Udmurtia" entitled "Secrets of the Udmurt Masters" became the winner of the all-Russian competition "Best Books of the Year". According to the press service of the head and government of the republic, the publication became the first in the nomination "The best publication contributing to the dialogue of cultures."
128 publishing houses from Russia and the Near Abroad took part in the competition. In total, more than 400 publications were presented.
Note that in 2020 the book "Secrets of the Udmurt Masters" participated in four book competitions at once and received four laureate diplomas. Thus, the publication won the All-Russian competition of regional and local history literature "Malaya Rodina".

Investigators are checking the fact of a video published on social networks in which violent acts are carried out against a child by three persons. As reported by "Izvestia", this was reported on the website of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow region.
In the video footage, three adults hold the girl by the arms and legs on the floor, ignoring her cries for help, and fumigate her with an unknown substance. It is reported that a certain ritual of "casting out demons" was performed in relation to the child under the leadership of, presumably, a resident of the city of Podolsk.
Investigators establish the identity of those who participated in the shooting, as well as the location and circumstances of the incident. Employees of the city prosecutor's office also began checking this fact.
The publication also recalls that in November, near Volgograd, parents expelled the demon from their son with garlic and holy water. In the village of Gusevka, Volgograd Region, the parents of a child who demonstrated non-standard behavior preferred not to seek specialists, but to resort to “alternative medicine”. All the humiliations of the boy were filmed by the parents on the phone to send them to the media in the hope of receiving financial assistance.
New elections
The Knesset of Israel has been dissolved on December 23 due to the expiration of the approval period for the country's state budget for 2021-2022, early parliamentary elections in the country will be held on March 23, 2021. Izvestia reports about this with reference to CNN.
This election will be the fourth in the Israeli state in the past two years. In early December, 61 deputies, including representatives of Arab parties, voted for the dissolution of parliament, 54 against. Israel's 35th coalition government was formed following elections on March 2, after the Knesset decided to dissolve itself a year ago.
