The Ivanov family from Nizhny Novgorod took part in the All-Russian online festival "Father's Day", the press service of the RIK NRO of the United Russia party reports.
It took place within the framework of the "Russia with many children" project. To participate in the unique online festival, four thousand applications were received from dads from all over Russia, and more than five thousand members of large families supported them: children and mothers, grandparents, uncles and aunts.
“I myself am actively involved in sports and involve children in a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, we decided to participate in the "Sports Dad" nomination. We recorded a video of family exercises in order to show by our example: it is more fun and more interesting to go in for sports together,”said Mikhail Ivanov, head of the family, entrepreneur, winner of the preliminary vote of United Russia in the elections to the Duma of Nizhny Novgorod.
The entrepreneur's family has three children: 9-year-old Nikita, 8-year-old Elizaveta and 3-year-old Sofia. According to Mikhail Ivanov, the whole family supported him with great pleasure, so the decision to participate in the festival was made unanimously. Initially, it was planned to participate only in the nomination "Sports Dad", but daughter Liza also came up with a fairy tale for the nomination "Tale of Dad", and her mother wrote it down from her words.
“The principles promoted by this festival are close to me. I wanted to show by my own example that a large family is not only a great responsibility, but also a lot of pleasant moments, constant children's laughter in the house. By participating in the festival, I wanted to show the children that there are a huge number of opportunities to express themselves and realize their strengths,”added the father of many children.
