On September 7, Titianenko walked past house 80 on Parovoznaya Street and saw that a child was falling from the balcony of the third floor. She immediately dropped her bags and hurried to catch the boy. “I had to, I had to do it. When the child was in my arms, I felt a sense of relief,”said Titianenko.

It is clarified that the child was not injured. His relatives named the girl the second mother of the boy.

The head of the city Fyodor Shishkin presented the girl with gratitude for the shown courage and heroism. “This is a worthy example of how to treat others,” he said.

Earlier, the President of the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology Leonid Roshal and the Children's Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova prepared a proposal to the Ministry of Construction of Russia on the mandatory installation of window restraints in houses with a height of two floors or more. The measure is designed to ensure the safety of children living in such homes. According to the data announced by the children's ombudsman, since the beginning of 2019, more than a hundred children have fallen from the windows of Russian houses, 15 of them have died.
