CHELYABINSK, 9 October - RIA Novosti. The child, whom a resident of Chelyabinsk gave birth to in August on vacation in Turkey and who was there all the time in the clinic, was brought home and placed in a local hospital, his condition is stable, the press service of the regional health ministry said on Wednesday.
As reported by the department, a resident of Chelyabinsk underwent an emergency caesarean section during a vacation in Turkey on August 18. Her relatives turned to the Ministry of Health with a request to help. The department made a request to the Turkish consulate. The clinic said that it was impossible to take the child home immediately. Earlier, the senator from the region Margarita Pavlova told RIA Novosti that the child would be discharged from a clinic in Turkey on October 7, after which he and his mother would fly home.
"The child, who was born prematurely in Turkey, successfully flew. At the plane's ramp he was met by children's resuscitators and taken to the Chelyabinsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital in the neonatal pathology department for further nursing. Now his condition is stable," the message says.
The press service adds that the baby will undergo treatment with his mother.
