In Russia, the regions identified in which over the past summer suffered the greatest and least number of children. This is evidenced by the results of the "Childhood Safety" campaign, said Anna Kuznetsova, children's rights commissioner under the President of Russia, reports TASS.
Thus, the most dangerous situation is observed in the Altai Republic, as well as in the Moscow, Oryol, Novosibirsk and Kurgan regions. The safest regions for minors turned out to be the Belgorod Region, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Penza Region, North Ossetia-Alania and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
According to Kuznetsova, children who are not involved in any kind of activity are most often killed. “We will turn to the government with a proposal to develop a document on interaction in the field of organizing leisure time during the holidays, which will help to increase the coverage of children with various forms of employment - cultural, sports and other events,” she concluded.
The Ombudsman added that, in addition, the regions will be offered to introduce a unified register of children's sports and playgrounds, which will indicate their coordinates, descriptions, as well as information on their balance holders responsible for the condition and repairs and data from regulatory and supervisory authorities.
The initiators of the all-Russian action "Safety of Childhood" are ombudspersons for the rights of the child, the Council of Fathers, the ONF Youth, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as representatives of regional authorities and concerned citizens.
