The Investigative Committee could open a criminal case on the fact of mass infection of children with dysentery in Moscow kindergartens.
The mother of one of the children, Ekaterina Kovaleva, informed Kommersant about the initiation of a criminal case. The Investigative Committee did not confirm or deny the information.
According to the newspaper, the district department of the TFR conducted a pre-investigation check on the fact of mass infection. Her materials were transferred to the Investigative Directorate of the TFR in Moscow.
Lawyer Pavel Astakhov told the publication that Rospotrebnadzor conducted an epidemiological investigation, its materials were sent to the regional department of the UK.
The press service of the Concord company, which supplies products for kindergartens, promised to conduct its own investigation. The company also said that compensation will be paid to the victims. “There will be an individual approach in each case. Treatment, medications and moral compensation will be paid for,”said Maxim Babichev, a representative of Concorde.
Recall that the outbreak of dysentery in kindergartens began at the end of 2018. Parents of preschoolers associated the infection of children with poor-quality food.
