In St. Petersburg, mobile control and supervisory groups, formed on the basis of regional administrations, will go on raids to check compliance with safety standards from Monday, October 26th. This was announced today, October 22, in the office of the vice-governor Yevgeny Yelin.

“We cannot afford the introduction of a complete quarantine, otherwise it will lead to a total collapse of the economy. Therefore, the main thing today is to form resistance to the virus and ensure the safety of citizens,”Yevgeny Yelin commented on the situation.

First of all, the mobile teams will check the objects of trade, public catering, crowded places, urban public transport. They will check both the presence of a QR code for safe activities and the actual compliance with the prescribed rules. For the first violation - a warning, for the second - a fine, in case of malicious evasion from compliance with safety standards - suspension of activities.

As already reported, in St. Petersburg, a ban has been introduced on the work of catering establishments, entertainment and night establishments from 11 pm to 6 am, with the exception of catering points at train stations, at the airport and at gas stations. Entertainment activities in catering organizations are prohibited.

Employers are advised to transfer all employees from risk groups to remote work.
