The Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler made changes to the decree on measures to counter the spread of the new coronavirus infection, allowing the operation of children's playrooms, as well as holding memorial dinners in a cafe. At the same time, the self-isolation regime for the elderly has been extended, the press service of the head of the region told reporters on Monday.
"The new edition of the document contains several changes. For example, children's playrooms and children's entertainment centers located in the territories of shopping and shopping and entertainment complexes may return to work," the message says.
The decree allows the holding of memorial dinners in public catering facilities, which was previously banned. They can now be conducted if the tables are placed two meters apart. Each table can be no more than four people, specified in the document.
"Until February 8, the need to observe self-isolation for Orenburg residents aged 65 and over has been extended, restrictions on the opening and closing times of catering establishments (except for takeout and delivery) continue to apply, a ban on the operation of hookah bars, points of sale of draft drinks and corporate events, regardless of the number of participants and the venue, "the press service said.
In the Orenburg region, according to the regional headquarters, 33,075 cases of coronavirus infection were officially registered, including 171 over the past day. 29,305 patients recovered, 447 died. There are 1,096 people diagnosed with COVID-19 in hospitals.
