In Zarechny, a volunteer project "Miracle in every home" has begun, which was developed by local children and supported by residents of eight Russian nuclear cities and Turkish Antalya.
Its participants make New Year's talismans in the form of snowmen, pass them on to children in need to the hospital or home, hold holidays and flash mobs under their windows.
On Thursday, December 24, the first action took place. In the hospital campus, under the windows of the infectious diseases department, volunteers and pupils of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity arranged a flash mob to create a festive mood for those who are overcoming the disease.
The snowmen-talismans were transferred to the hospital of the MSCh 59, to the children's regional hospital and the oncological dispensary, and to those who were struggling with the disease were brought home.
“Anyone can become a member of the project“Miracle in every home”and give a New Year mood by joining a special group on the social network“VKontakte”,” the Zarechny administration said.
In addition, the schoolchildren brought home-made snowmen to the mayor of the city, Oleg Klimanov, and asked to give them to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
“I will definitely do it,” Klimanov promised on his VKontakte page. In his post, he said that snowmen are made by schoolchildren and kindergarteners with their parents, as well as by young workers of the Start Production Association.
“Moreover, Zarechny’s action was supported by other cities of Rosatom. There are 5 time zones and 4,500 km between the participants, but all are united by one good deed. Our children have shown us all that the miracles we expect so often depend on ourselves,”he wrote.
