Russian dog handlers have named dog breeds best suited for families with children. Cynologists have identified five breeds that can become best friends for their little owners, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The list was compiled by the Russian Cynological Federation (RKF). In total, the experts analyzed 400 dog breeds. The dog handlers singled out "good boys" who are distinguished by the most friendly temperament, high social qualities and the ability to train.
First place went to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. According to RKF President Vladimir Golubev, this breed has a kind and balanced character, such dogs easily adapt to different living conditions, tolerate children's pranks and love to play.
“They are distinguished by their cheerfulness and spontaneity, they are ready to make friends with everyone and selflessly love their family,” the specialist noted.
The second line of the rating went to the Brussels Griffon. These are "domestic", rarely barking, non-aggressive dogs with a stable psyche. They are attached to their owners, obedient and love active games. Golubev warned that sometimes the Griffon can show impudence, so it is necessary, like any other dog, to be socialized. And for a child, representatives of this breed can become a faithful companion.
In third place were the energetic Shelties, who need active games and quality walks. These easily trained dogs have a subtle sense of the owner's mood, are distinguished by their loving and conflict-free, intelligence and quick-wittedness.

From the ancestors of the shepherds, the Welsh Corgi Pembroke inherited endurance, the ability to work as a team, quick wit and fearlessness.
