The author of the Harry Potter series, J. K. Rowling, responded to a letter from six-year-old Russian fan Veronica. The girl's mother reported this to the Pravmir edition.
On July 31, the writer's birthday, the child decided to draw a postcard for her. “After about 20 minutes, my daughter brought a small and slightly cut homemade postcard with scissors. And a bouquet of flowers,”said the mother of a young Harry Potter fan.
She admitted that at first she did not plan to send a postcard, but her daughter asked her to find the address of the writer. As a result, the woman managed to find out the address of the Bloomsberry publishing house, where letters for Rowling are usually sent, but her daughter insisted that the letter should be delivered to the writer home.
“Some seedy forum, this time of Russian-speaking fans of Harry Potter, offered us the address of the castle in Edinburgh,” remembered the girl's mother, who eventually agreed to go to the post office with her daughter.
