The long-awaited sports complex is ready - the synchronized swimming team of the Leningrad Region is already training here and classes for residents are starting. During a working trip, the head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, examined the facility in Ivangorod, which will soon open to all age groups. “On my vulgar visit, there were comments about the pool. All of them were eliminated, the facility was put into operation and began to work. Here the girls are already preparing for the All-Russian competition - our team in synchronized swimming. And residents will soon be able to visit the pool. After the opening of the border, we are also waiting for visitors from Narva,”stressed Alexander Drozdenko. While the head of the region watched the athletes' classes, he was confirmed that the facility was ready to receive residents. The children's pool bowl will accommodate junior elementary school and kindergarten preparatory groups. Preparations are underway for the opening of the infant swimming department. Together with the Federation of Swimming and Synchronized Swimming of the Leningrad Region, the program “Swimming for All” is being launched with classes on the principle of “third physical education lesson” with coaches who will teach children to float on the water and train sports teams. The opening hours of the pool are planned in such a way as to divide the streams and make the classes comfortable for everyone. For example, in the first half of the day, by agreement with the City Council of Veterans, the time is fixed for people of the older generation. Agreements are concluded with regional organizations and enterprises for the organization of corporate sailing. Tariffs are approved taking into account all categories of citizens. The total carrying capacity of a large 25-meter pool with five lanes with a small pool and a gym with coaches, changing rooms and saunas is 480 people per day, spectator stands for 60 seats go to the large bowl. The construction of the facility was carried out within the framework of the "Development of Physical Culture and Sports" program.
