The patrols will include fathers who will take care of the prevention of accidents with children.
There are plans to create “fathers' patrols” in the region.
“There is an idea to create permanent patrols of dads in every city and village of the region to prevent accidents with children,” said Nina Boldyreva, ombudsperson for children's rights in the region. “They could inspect yards, playgrounds, identify holes dug and abandoned by public utilities, open manhole wells, unenclosed construction sites, dangerous metal structures - everything that can pose a threat to children. And also "bother" the owners of the objects, so that they bring all this to a safe state. We would like to make these patrols permanent. After all, our children, especially those left unattended on the street, increasingly find themselves in tragic situations. Similar patrols have already appeared in the region under the public council of fathers, under the youth wing of the ONF, under the Cossack squads, and the Orthodox center "Ladder". We have already appealed to all municipal authorities and law enforcement agencies to support this idea as much as possible."
