Testing works in all subjects are necessary for high school students, because they will test their knowledge of subjects, as well as the quality of the work of teachers. But it is necessary to introduce testing work gradually, taking into account the load on schoolchildren and not to bring the process to hysteria. This opinion was expressed by the majority of experts interviewed by TASS, commenting on the recommendation of Rosobrnadzor to conduct testing in 11 grades in the 2016-2017 academic year in all subjects in addition to the USE.

This proposal was made at a meeting in the Ministry of Education and Science on October 25, the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergei Kravtsov. According to him, there is a problem that was identified in the course of research on the quality of education, when in the 11th grade attention is paid only to those subjects that the student will take on the exam. According to Kravtsov, test work should help to identify the level of quality of education, identify certain problems and determine ways to solve them.
According to and. about. Rector of the Russian State Pedagogical University. Herzen Sergei Bogdanov, the proposal voiced by the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergei Kravtsov requires discussion, but "there is nothing wrong with it." "The system of testing knowledge is improving, and this is a natural process. The USE system has been created, which performs an important function, but this system demanded compensation. The idea of conducting tests in all subjects is fruitful, since it compensates for the USE system," he said in an interview with a TASS correspondent.
The chemistry teacher of the Lyceum 5 of Volgograd Evgeny Kovalev (entered the five finalists of the competition "Teacher of the Year 2016" - note TASS) considered the idea "quite adequate": "This is an attempt to answer the question about the quality of education from the standpoint of the success of studying all From the point of view of my subject, I can say that chemistry is studied once a week in high school, of course, only a few choose to take it in the 11th grade - only those who motivated by further education in medical universities ".
Rostov-based teacher Andrey Barashev, one of the five winners of the Teacher of the Year 2016 competition, supported the idea of testing high school students: “I am rather positive about this, but I don’t appreciate the suddenness of all this very well. By and large, the education system is calm and measured, unexpected test work in all subjects can be stressful for students. I agree that a person should prepare hard for the subjects that he needs. But I strongly disagree that no attention will be paid to the rest of the subjects."
According to the teacher of biology and the director of gymnasium 42 of the city of Barnaul, Altai Territory, candidate of pedagogical sciences, winner of the national project "Education" Henrietta Tatarnikova, the initiative of Rosobrnadzor will not become a stressful factor for teachers and students, but on the contrary, it will help the former to check the quality of their work, and to the latter - knowledge of subjects in which they will not take the exam. She noted that such an experience can become very interesting for the region, where work has been underway for many years to assess the quality of education, as a result of which a plan for the development of subject areas is being developed.
"Testing work in 11 grades is probably good, we are talking about the education of a person who can put his knowledge into practice. This narrow focus in the choice of four subjects in the final exam can play a cruel joke on the student's future - a person, graduating from school and entering a university, must be literate in all areas, be successful and narrowly focused - these are incompatible things. Such test work is the systematization of knowledge, "Tatarnikova said.
"Let's not hide the fact that there is a tendency when in high school they start to study only two or three subjects, and all the rest are no longer relevant. Testing will help identify these problems by the end of grade 11 in order to improve the quality of education. A demo version of the work will appear. in November, indicators for the quality of education were prepared by the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements, "Tatiana Gorbunova, rector of the Institute for the Development of Education of the Omsk Region, told TASS.
A similar opinion is shared by the Minister of Education and Science of the Kamchatka Territory Victoria Sivak, who noted that it is objectively impossible to assess the quality of education in subjects, since not all 11th grade students take them. So, for example, chemistry is chosen only by 25% of Kamchatka graduates, while social studies - 60%.
Alla Kuznetsova, Minister of Education and Science of the Khabarovsk Territory, agrees with this. "As for high school graduates, out of 11 subjects of the program, only 5 are presented for selection on the exam, and some of the subjects, such as biology, are chosen by units. They successfully pass it, but this is an assessment of individual students, and not the quality of general education, "the minister said.
As the first vice-rector - vice-rector for academic affairs of the Ural State Pedagogical University Svetlana Minyurova explained in an interview with TASS, conducting tests in various subjects will contribute to more accurate career guidance for eleventh graders. “We often see the migration of freshmen and sophomores who suddenly realize that they have entered the wrong place. Therefore, such works are useful from a pragmatic point of view, that is, they will help the student and his parents assess their capabilities and chances in all directions,” she said.
According to the Acting Minister of General and Professional Education of the Sverdlovsk Region, Yuri Biktuganov, diagnostic control works have been carried out in the region for six years. "We emphasize that no marks are given for these works, so that the children do not have stress. The main task here is to identify knowledge gaps in schoolchildren and help each child to eliminate these gaps while he is at school. ", - said Biktuganov.
Diagnostics of the quality of knowledge will have an effect, the director of the center for assessing the quality of education in the Chechen Republic Lechiev Shakhruddi is sure.
“We know that it will be useful for school education. Even when these works were tested, Chechnya was 100% involved. You cannot improve the quality of education without knowing its initial state. This diagnosis is a very conscientious and well-tested methodology, that is, with scientifically, everything is justified there, "- said the interlocutor of TASS.
The stage of approbation of the All-Russian Testing Works (VPR), carried out in the schools of the Chechen Republic in December 2015, showed weak results of 4th grade students in mathematics and Russian language; more than 25 thousand schoolchildren were tested. More than 18% of students wrote a paper for the grade "2" in the Russian language and more than 9% - in mathematics. In the next stage of inspections, in May 2016, more than 30 thousand students from 469 educational organizations took part. According to the results, the share of students with results below the basic level (grade "2") in the Russian language decreased by 3 times (less than 6%), in mathematics by 2 times (less than 5%).
In the Sakhalin region, the All-Russian test work in the 11th grade will take place in April - May 2017, the First Deputy Minister of Education of the region Svetlana Vasilyeva told TASS. According to her, information on the diagnosis of knowledge was brought to the educational institutions of the Sakhalin region. Students' knowledge will be tested in physics, chemistry, biology, geography and history.
"There is a control system not only in Russia, in all countries it is. It is one thing that the system of general control will be introduced, another is how it will be implemented and the third is what kind of feedback. If the results of testing are included in the rating of schools, their principals, then you won't have to talk about objectivity, "he said in an interview with the correspondent. TASS Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Professional Retraining of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University (KBSU), candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor Marat Anaev.
In his opinion, the results of assessment procedures cannot be used to compare the performance of schools, teachers, principals; the data should be used for further work in terms of improving the qualifications of teachers, improving the quality in individual subjects.
"Control measures should be taken not in terms of punishment, but in terms of further improving the training system itself. If this is pumped up again, problems will arise. We see this during the USE. If the USE had not been driven to hysteria, but now it looks like a combined-arms operation, then the results there would also be different. If we trust teachers to teach, why don't we trust them to carry out control sections? ", - said Marat Anaev.
According to Valery Lashko, co-chairman of the Parents' Committee of the North Caucasus Federal District, now is not the time to carry out such checks. "The workload of schoolchildren is colossal now, hard work is underway - grades 8-11 participate in many city, district, regional and regional competitions, festivals, conferences, where they successfully defend abstracts, which also takes enormous efforts, but this gives a lot plus in preparation. The initiative of Rosobrnadzor, in principle, is fair, but you need to think about it from the other side - to carry out such work at a time when the least load of students and teachers, and to carry out them in order to draw conclusions, develop feasible proposals for schools ", - said the representative of the parent committee.
"Otherwise, they will simply put it in a negative light, knock off the impulse at the Olympiads, in the end it will all affect the Unified State Exam. Our task is to teach, not to stuff the student's consciousness, like a computer, with information, but to educate a person. efforts will be in vain, "he added.
