The fate of 1.5-year-old Maxim, who was bullied by his own mother and neighbor, became known. Currently, the boy lives in the family of his uncle, who works as a policeman. The child has recovered from stress and injuries and is feeling well, Channel 12 reports.
Recall that a shocking incident took place in the Koyanbay village of the Tavrichesky district of the Omsk region. According to the investigation, for six months, from March to September, the boy's mother, 20-year-old Evgenia Kabelskaya, severely punished her 1.5-year-old son for interfering with her housework. In early September, the baby was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with multiple abrasions of the soft tissues of the face and head, back contusion, and hematomas of the lower extremities. However, Kabelskaya herself did not admit her guilt, saying that she used physical force against her son only for the purpose of education. According to the young mother, her son was beaten by Gulmira Bukenova, with whom Kabelskaya lived with her son after her husband's death.
Despite the fact that the women tried to shift the blame on each other, the Investigative Committee established that both villagers were involved in the beatings. In addition, Kabelskaya was charged under one more article - “Improper performance of parental duties”.
“The forensic medical examination established the presence of slight harm to the child's health based on the totality of the detected bodily injuries. In addition, the investigation established a systematic restriction of the child's food intake, lack of care for the child's health and hygiene,”said Ekaterina Orlova, senior investigator of the first investigation department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Omsk Region, to Channel 12.
Currently, Kabelskaya has limited parental rights and is under house arrest.
