The toys and stationery for the "Good Room" of the children's department of the Balashikha regional hospital were handed over by the deputies of the city council. Therefore, we gave them a box with gifts, the contents of which, I hope, will cheer up the children, distract from the thoughts of being in a hospital, in a foreign place. The playroom is located in the pediatric ward, which now houses about 40 children. In September, the same “Box of Courage” was presented to the third branch of the hospital. The second branch of the Balashikha regional hospital is designed for 700 beds. Medical care is provided by surgeons, urologists, gynecologists, ENTs, ophthalmologists and other specialists. There are three departments in the children's building: surgical, somatic and pediatrics. The regional project of "United Russia" to create "Kind Rooms" in medical institutions was launched in July 2019. The project is being implemented with the support of philanthropists and public organizations. The first children's playroom in the city was opened in branch 2 of the Balashikha regional hospital on Entuziastov highway in December 2019. The walls of the room were painted with scenes from the famous Soviet cartoon "Umka". Another children's corner has appeared in branch 3 on Nosovikhinskoe highway. Each room has a board for drawing, adding numbers and learning the alphabet, a cartoon TV, and a play area with board games.
