MOSCOW, November 12. / TASS /. Young actors of the Children's Musical Theater of a young actor are not taught to be actors, but are helped to reveal their talent. This opinion was expressed by the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy on Monday at the 30th anniversary of the theater.
"You [the theater troupe] did not live these years in vain, you were engaged in creativity, great art, because when you understand that children are not taught to play, but they are helped to develop their talent, then this is true happiness," Shvydkoy said on New Stage Bolshoi Theater, where the anniversary was celebrated, adding that the theater is in wide demand abroad.
The artistic director of the theater, Alexander Fedorov, noted that the history of the theater he headed has undergone various kinds of events. "We lived for today, but we believed that what we are doing is good, correct, interesting and necessary. Over the past 30 years, there have been different things: there were problems, there was a lack of money, there were dashing 90s, but all the same these problems passed by, because we still believed in the theater, in our talented, kind, purposeful children - the greatest miracle in this world, "he said.
The theater was also congratulated on its anniversary by the President's Commissioner for Children's Rights Anna Kuznetsova, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexei Shaposhnikov and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture Alexander Kibovsky.
At the anniversary show, actors and alumni of the theater presented excerpts from the play "In the Nursery", the musicals "The Adventures of Oliver Twist", "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", "Pippi Long Stocking", "Moscow History 1205", musical performances "Fantasies on the Theme of Dunaevsky", "The Leader of the Redskins", the opera "Barankin, Be Human!", The musical fantasy "A Dream of Rain".
