The project "Professional nannies for children" is being implemented in Russia. Within its framework, social nannies are being trained. Their services, in particular, can be used by the medical staff who work with coronavirus patients in the "red zones". Experience already exists in the Ulyanovsk and Vologda regions, as well as in Bashkortostan. The ONF expert, chairman of the commission on demography, protection of families, children and traditional family values of the Public Chamber of Russia Sergey Rybalchenko told about the project to the TV channel MIR 24.
“Now it goes through social service centers where nannies trained in the framework of the project work. It is planned that there will be a special “virtual button” on the ONF website, by contacting which medical workers can get help,”Rybalchenko explained.
He noted that while the project is being implemented in nine regions of Russia, the experience will be extended to everything in the future. The nannies are trained, then certified and included in the national register. A professional standard has been developed for such specialists.
“There are no age restrictions, but there are restrictions on education - the level is not lower than the general average. This means that only an adult citizen can be a nanny. There are other restrictions, they are related to the requirement for no criminal record - you need a certificate, and the requirement for health conditions that allows you to work with minors,”the expert said.
There are already 166 specialists in the register, the list is expanding. Rybalchenko noted that training continues, there is great interest in the project.
