Wearing masks at school does not allow children to breathe properly. Family psychologist Natalya Naumova told Nation News about this.
According to the specialist, while the child is growing, it is important for him to receive a lot of oxygen. For example, elementary school students need to walk for at least three hours a day to enrich the brain with oxygen. Putting on masks, the air begins to flow worse, discomfort begins in the body, the expert explained.
“In the case of children, masks at school do more harm than good. The child begins to worry, he may perceive the situation as terrible. He believes that if adults put a mask on him, then the situation is very serious. He thinks that he is in the hospital, the child has a panic,”said the psychologist.
According to the expert, wearing masks in schools can both psychologically and physiologically turn against children. The psychologist notes that if a child needs to wear a mask at school, then the parents should explain to him that this is needed and there is no threat in this. But for the psychological health of the child, it is better not to turn the school into a hospital, concluded Naumova.
