It is true that obstacles make us stronger. Overcoming them, you can reach a new level of development. So it happened with the cultural community of Dzerzhinsk. The coronavirus has seriously interfered with the work of theaters, libraries, art schools, but they found new ways of communication and came up with hundreds of interesting projects that inspired, brought Dzerzhins together, helped them get through a difficult time and gave them confidence in the future. Theatrical romance Probably the most unusual experience this year was the Dzerzhinsky Drama Theater. While other theaters in the region were waiting for the opening of the season to present the audience with performances dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory, the Dzerzhinsky theater went on a risky experiment. The premiere performance "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" (12+) staged based on the story of Boris Vasiliev, the theater showed on May 9 on the air of the Dzerzhinsk TV company. The artists admit that it was difficult to play in an empty hall, but they gave their best, and the fans were grateful for this gift. - With the help of television, we have the opportunity to show our work to the viewer. It would be wrong to give a gift to the townspeople by May 9 and not give it on time. Of course, a TV show is not really a show. If you watch it on stage, this is another look at the piece. I liked the TV version, but this does not cancel and does not replace the impression of the performance in the theater hall, - said the production director, chief director of the theater Andrei Podskrebkin. On December 5, the theater opened its long-awaited 74th season with the play "The Dawns Here Are Quiet". Very soon, on New Year's holidays, the theater will show another premiere: at the request of young spectators and their parents, the theater has prepared a new version of the musical fairy tale "Thumbelina" (6+). During the holidays, the children will also see other fairy tales from the theater's repertoire. The repertoire of the theater for December and January has already appeared on the website. The Dzerzhinsky Puppet Theater, which has just opened its 33rd season, will delight the audience with premieres. This is a performance for the smallest spectators "Masha Fly" (0+), staged based on a fairy tale written by the ex-Minister of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Nizhny Novgorod writer Vladimir Sedov. And the play dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory - "Genkin's Diary" (0+), which will premiere on December 12. The play was written by the leading theater actress Ekaterina Chernova, inspired by the front-line diary of her grandfather, Mikhail Lukoyanov. Even before the opening of the season, in September, the puppet theater team took part in the international festival "Puppet Island", which was held in Kostroma, and won a diploma there in one of four festival nominations: the homeless dog from the play "Dog's Joy" was recognized as "The best puppet »Of the festival. In anticipation of young spectators, the Dzerzhinsky Puppet Theater not only worked on the premieres, but also carried out repairs: new tiles were laid in front of the entrance, the steps were updated. The renovation of the theater building itself is planned within the framework of the national project "Culture". Another joyful event this fall for the theater was the receipt of a touring vehicle. The beautiful GAZelle arrived at the theater straight from the factory. Now puppeteer artists will be able to show performances even in the most remote corners of the region and in neighboring regions. Art on the balcony The Palace of Culture of Chemists was also involved in repairs in isolation. “We have managed to do a lot,” Anastasia Lytova, deputy director for development of the farm house, told us. - We have repaired locker rooms, corridors, classrooms. After a communal accident in January, when our entire wardrobe was flooded, we changed the upper heating system. Now we are planning to change the lower segment of the heating system. The area around the Palace of Culture also began to transform. With the support of the head of the city, we restored the historic fence of the palace, our beautiful wrought-iron fence. We hope that next year we will continue to improve the territory. In difficult times, the most vulnerable residents of Dzerzhinsk did not go unnoticed. In February, through the efforts of the creative collectives of the DKH, a Pancake Week on Wheels was organized for people with limited mobility. And in May, the employees of the Palace of Culture went to the courtyards with concerts and congratulated the veterans. During the pandemic, a new format of work appeared in the House of Culture of Chemists - "Musical Balcony". The artists performed on the balcony, and the audience was in the park area. - We didn't expect so many people to come! - Anastasia Lytova admits. - As soon as the show began, passers-by instantly gathered. We and the audience really liked this format, and we will develop it. On January 10, we are planning to show a New Year's performance on our balcony. Reading volley Almost a year ago, a model Children's Library, a branch of the Gagarin Library, was opened in Dzerzhinsk. Young book lovers immediately appreciated the new format with modern equipment, expanded rooms and comfortable furniture. - In January and February, the attendance was simply stunning, - said the head of the library Irina Sokolovskaya. - Kindergartens and schools went on excursions, played games, took part in all-Russian actions dedicated to the Victory anniversary. Today, work on the arrangement of the library space continues. Cozy reading places for the youngest visitors are already ready, and a relaxation room will soon appear in the library. In the meantime, there was isolation, the library received 2,700 copies of books, which are now being processed and put into operation. Play, musician! The Scriabin Central Children's Music School recently received a significant gift. School director Galina Karaseva called participation in the national project "Culture" the main event of the year. Thanks to him, the school acquired new musical instruments in the amount of 5,447,000 rubles. “It's breathtaking - we've never had such an upgrade! - the director does not hide his emotions. - Now we have everything - two Yamaha pianos, two armchair grand pianos with a unique beautiful sound, violins, domras, balalaikas, an accordion - the list is huge. Interactive equipment was also received. This is a great gift from the regional government and the Ministry of Culture, a real gift for both children and their parents, because playing class instruments is a movement forward for both students and teachers. The success of the children is also encouraging: a pupil of the school, Evgeny Voronin, has visited the Russian educational center for gifted children "Sirius" and is going to enter the Nizhny Novgorod Musical College. Eight graduates of the school have already entered to study further, one of them - Igor Selyakov - is studying at the St. Petersburg School of Music. Beauty will save the world The most beautiful cultural event of the year was the beauty contest "Mrs. Russia - Dzerzhinsk". The competition was planned for the spring, but it was held only in the summer. Competition director Tatyana Veselova said that the main idea of the event was to help the orphanage. The participants decorated the lawns, mowed the lawns, made an emblem for the orphanage - a wooden stork as a symbol of the family. Then there was a month of preparation - from cooking master classes and makeup lessons to photo shoots. As a result, "Mrs. Dzerzhinsk" became a mother of two children, Ekaterina Smirnova, in the 40+ nomination, Elena Rybakova, the mother of a 25-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter, won. And Olga Maksimenko, a mother of five children, curator of the rescue team "Liza Alert", became the queen of charity. In August, Ekaterina and Olga presented Dzerzhinsk at the Mrs. Russia competition and from there they also brought titles and awards.
