MOSCOW, February 12. / TASS /. Anna Kuznetsova, Commissioner for the Rights of the Child under the President of the Russian Federation, said that the condition of the three children whom their mother left in the forest in New Moscow is stable, but so far they are in the intensive care unit.
"The help came on time, now the children are in one of the clinics of the capital, while in the intensive care unit. The condition is stable, we are in touch with the doctors. It's scary to think … A little more - the consequences could already be irreversible," the ombudsman quotes her press -Service on Friday.
Kuznetsova said that she was monitoring the situation and was in contact with the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in Moscow, representatives of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the City Population, and the Children's Ombudsman of Chuvashia. "We are checking all the information, clarifying the question about close relatives," she added. The ombudsman's office clarified that relatives of children may be in Chuvashia.
As the representative of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee in Moscow, Yulia Ivanova, told TASS earlier, late in the evening on February 11, a 33-year-old mother with many children brought three children to the forest belt in New Moscow, with intent to kill them, stripping them naked and leaving them on the street. This was noticed by an eyewitness who turned to law enforcement agencies. Children with various degrees of frostbite were immediately taken to the children's city hospital, Ivanova said. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two or more persons, including minors, who are in a helpless state").
