Rostov region, February 12, 2021. DON24. RU. Preparations for the children's summer health campaign have begun in the Rostov region. This year, as planned, the children will be greeted by 860 camps, 840 of them - daytime stay at schools, the rest - out of town. At the same time, the duration of shifts in school camps will be 21 days, in country camps - 24 days. As First Deputy Governor Igor Guskov noted at a press conference, this year the camps will be able to accept only half of the children per shift. “Due to the epidemiological situation, Rospotrebnadzor requires 50 percent load in camps. Therefore, fewer children will have a rest than in the pre-coronavirus years - about 50 thousand people. But in May, a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on summer vacations will be held and a final decision on this issue will be made. We have a good practice - we will work with children online, as we did last year: we tried to keep the children busy so that they would not be left to themselves,”he said. Recall that at the end of December last year, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, signed a document extending until January 1, 2022, the validity period of sanitary and epidemiological rules and requirements for organizers of children's and youth recreation. Earlier, experts calculated how much a voucher to a children's camp will cost in 2021.
